De Chantal, D’Amour, Fortier and Hardy, Goyette & Associés, two law firms operating in Longueuil, merged on October 1st, 2017 in order to become Fortier, D’Amour, Goyette, a multidisciplinary law firm composed of seasoned lawyers and legal advisors. Although they amalgamated their resources, personnel, and professional services, the two firms maintained the same devotion to excellence and kept promoting the values that made their reputation.

De Chantal, D'Amour, Fortier was founded in February 1996 in Longueuil. Mtre Ovila JB Goyette founded his law firm in Ville Jacques-Cartier (nowadays known as Longueuil). When his son joined him and his sister in 1982, the firm changed its name to Goyette & Goyette, Notaires.
