About
A notary by training, Maxime Soulière-Charbonneau practices primarily in real estate transactions and real estate financing, with expertise in divided and undivided co-ownership.
He advises a diverse clientele—individuals, investors, developers, housing cooperatives, condominium syndicates, and community organizations—in complex matters involving real estate acquisitions, real estate financing structuring, the establishment of divided and undivided co-ownerships, their modification, reorganization, or liquidation, as well as structured financial arrangements involving institutional and community partners, including the SHQ, CMHC, and other social and affordable housing stakeholders.
Having begun his career at Fodago in 2020, Mr. Soulière-Charbonneau subsequently continued his practice at another firm as an associate notary, where he worked for four years. During this period, he supervised and structured the residential real estate law department—private client services, actively contributing to its development and the consolidation of its practices. He is now back with the Fodago team, where he is putting this experience to good use for the benefit of his clients.
He also practices individual rights and family law, particularly in estate planning, offering his clients a rigorous, humane approach that is adapted to current realities.
