About

Martin Vachon has been a member of the Quebec Bar since 2022. He completed his bachelor's degree in law at the University of Sherbrooke, where he was also part of the editorial team of the Law Review in 2021-2022. His distinguished academic background also includes a bachelor's and master's degree in chemistry from the University of Montreal, which gives him a unique perspective in his legal practice.

Before entering the legal profession, Martin gained extensive professional experience working as a senior process research scientist from 2006 to 2010 at an international pharmaceutical company whose research philosophy is to prioritize patients and their families. He also served as a health services administration officer in the Canadian Forces. In 2022, he founded Marva Avocat, a boutique law firm in Sherbrooke specializing in civil litigation and immigration law, before joining the litigation team at Fortier, D'Amour, Goyette in 2025.

Martin advocates a participatory approach with his clients, promoting collaboration and dialogue to better understand and respond to their needs. His keen interest in science and technology, particularly the integration of artificial intelligence in environments where information must be controlled (medical and legal fields), reflects his modern and innovative vision of legal practice.
