Mtre Monette completed the Bachelor’s degree law program of the Université de Sherbrooke, was awarded a Master’s degree in tax law from the same institution shortly thereafter, was admitted to the Bar in 2014, and became a Fortier D’Amour Goyette partner in 2021. Most of his practice is addressed to real estate investors, developers, and building contractors, and focuses on commercial law (business purchases and sales), corporate law (implementation of complex corporate structures, including trusts), and tax law (fiscal planning and restructuring).

As an experienced professional in the field, Mtre Monette works in close collaboration with real estate investors and keeps them abreast of changes impacting the fields of law and taxes. He also provides lectures in parallel to the Degree in Superior and Specialized Studies in tax law provided by UQAM.

Regardless of the nature and scope of a case, Mtre Monette’s approach remains focused on education and support.
