About
A proud member of the Bar of Quebec since 1993, Mtre Richard D’Amour was also awarded a second cycle degree in tax law from the University of Sherbrooke.
He is a founding partner of Fortier, D’Amour, Goyette (formerly De Chantal, D’Amour, Fortier, s.e.n.c.r.l.), where he has been practicing business, corporate, and tax law for nearly 25 years alongside a clientele composed of professionals, institutions, business people, and small and medium-sized businesses.
In addition,Mr. D'Amour acts as a trainer in real estate taxation for real estate investors, members of the Club d'investisseurs immobiliers du Québec.
Mtre D’Amour also provides coaching in real estate tax law to investors who are members of the Real Estate Investors Club. In fact, he taught those subject matters for ten (10) years with the Bar school of Québec. He also co-authored a volume of the Collection de Droit published by the Bar of Québec.
Throughout his career,Mr. D'Amour has been involved in various organizations and foundations, including the South Shore Chamber of Commerce and Industry, where he served on the Board of Directors as President.
