About

Hélène Asseraf joined Fortier, D’Amour, Goyette in 2020, where she interned as a member of our business law team. She was admitted to the Bar of Quebec in September and officially became one of our business attorneys. Having been awarded a Bachelor’s degree in law from the Université de Montréal and overly passionate about tax issues, she underwent (and completed) a micro-program in consumption taxes provided by the Université de Sherbrooke.

Before joining the firm, she spent a year working as a legal research assistant alongside an attorney specialized in co-ownership law.

Throughout her academic journey, Hélène Asseraf was a member of the Université de Montréal’s Mediation Clinic, whose mission consists in promoting mediation as a means of dispute resolution and access to justice.
